Plus, on Monday, February 24, in honor of Black History Month, the LGBTQA and Social Justice Center will present a film screening of illuminates the life and work of Bayard Rustin, best remembered as organizer of the 1963 March on Washington and adviser to Dr. Rustin dared to live as an openly gay man during a fiercely homophobic time and the film reveals the price he paid for this honesty, chronicling both the triumphs and setbacks of his remarkable 60-year career.
